On the way back to Dallas, Erik had to stop over in San Antonio for work. Derek and I decided to go with him to have a much needed R&R after all the traveling and visiting.
Erik and I love San Antionio. We both have very fond memories here and it's very special to us, we had our engagement pics done on the Riverwalk. It was great to stay at a nice hotel right on the Riverwalk. Derek and I would wake up each morning and go for a morning walk. I didn't realize the Riverwalk is over three miles long. We had a nice dinner too before we left at a 24 hour mexican place with a Mariachi band. They played a nursery rhyme in Spanish for Derek. We really have no idea of the words but the song was beautiful and Derek stayed asleep!
The whole place was decorated like Christmas time, Derek stayed asleep so he couldn't enjoy all that was going on..I think the noise helped him sleep.
It was so nice to relax!
The music kept Derek sleeping so Mommy & Daddy could enjoy their date!
