Friends & Family Come to VISIT!

Derek has been very busy the first two weeks of his life. Once we were home and feeling better we started to receive visitors because so many of our friends and family are anxious to meet our sweet boy. He is so blessed to have so many that love him already!

Last week Derek has his first play date! Carter and Ava came over to play. The funny thing is most of the date Derek and Carter slept while beautiful Ava just waited patiently. BOYS!!

The Mommy's had lots of fun catching up and talking babies. I am so blessed to have such great friends. I wish I could take them all to Florida with us when we leave in August. I told Erik I have my very own Mommy group here...he says I will find a new one. ( But I like my friends that I have now I tell him..ha! )
Thanks again Leanne and Kristen for coming to see us we had a blast!

Then this weekend Derek's Uncle Charles and Aunt Darla and two cousins, Andrew and Aiden from College Station came to visit. We had so much fun and I couldn't get over how big Derek's cousins are now. Leanne's family stopped by too to meet Derek so we had a house full and had a blast.

Andrew had to make sure his cousin, Derek, had all ten of his toes! So cute...

Our sweet Dallas family....Patty and Tom stopped by with Leanne, Jon and Carter to meet Derek too. They said now that there are two babies, one for each of them, they are both ready to baby-sit! Jon & Leanne..where are we goin? ;)

This past Monday my mom's best friend, Vicky and her daughter Meg came over to meet Derek. I had not seen them since Erik and I were married so it was a very special visit. Thanks Vicky and Meg..I hope you can come back to Dallas before we move or we can come see the new house soon!!

Meg, I remember when you were this tiny! Now you are a grown, beautiful, college woman!!

Ah, Derek looks so comfy with you two. I am so glad ya'll were able to meet him.

As you can see, Derek is one lucky little guy. We have more visitors coming today and this weekend. His grandparents from New York will be here in a few weeks too.
